We all know it. Smooth is fast. Our deepest profile road wheelset was created not only to go fast but also to be smoothest possible. The 52mm deep carbon rim profile is deep enough to hold high speeds but still super light at a mere 1207g/set. We designed our Ride Smooth Technology, hand-built into every GRD 52 wheel, to increase control by reducing vibrations coming from the road. This leads to increased endurance by lowering body fatigue brought on by road vibrations, also known as ‘chatter’. Buy these wheels if you want a fast set of road wheels that are actually comfortable to ride. With super acceleration and even faster climbing, this wheel is built for riders who like going fast.
Can these be used as gravel wheels? Of course! With an internal rim width of 25mm, the recommended tire range on this wheelset is 25-45mm.
